Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Dr Joelle Aesthetics’ relationship with you in relation to this website.

The term “Dr Joelle Aesthetics” or “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is 1-2 Coleridge Gardens, South Hampstead, NW6 3QH.

The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website.

The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

  1. Bookings
    • 1.1 Deposits
      A deposit of 30% of your treatment cost is required to book an appointment at Dr Joelle Aesthetics.
      Deposits are redeemable against services or products purchased on the same day as the consultation or treatment. An email confirmation will be sent upon booking.
      Please refer to points 2.1 and 2.3.
    • 1.2 Major credit cards and Debit Cards are accepted except American Express. International cards are subject to a 2% administrative fee.

  1. Cancellations
    • 2.1 If the consultation appointment is cancelled and not rescheduled the following charges will be applied, please refer to point 2.3 and 2.4:

    • 2.2 If Dr Joelle Aesthetics cancels your appointment your deposit will be refunded in full. Alternatively, it can be used towards a later treatment or products to be redeemed within 12 months.
    • 2.3 Cancellation charges will not apply if a consultation/treatment appointment is re-arranged at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Please note we cannot guarantee you will be able to re-arrange your appointment for the same week. Availability will be confirmed at the time of rescheduling your appointment.
    • 2.4 We do urge you to try and arrive on time for your appointment. Failure to attend an appointment within 10 minutes of the allotted start time may result in your appointment being cancelled.

  1. Payments
    • 3.1 Full payment for consultation, treatment or products is required on the day they are received, credit will not be given.
    • 3.2 If, in exceptional circumstances only, full payment cannot be made on the day, there will be a daily charge of 5% above the Bank of England interest rates for all outstanding payments, starting 3 days after the original payment was due.
    • 3.3 Major credit cards and Debit Cards are accepted except American Express. International cards are subject to a 2% administrative fee.

  1. Treatments
    • 4.1 All patients are to complete a medical history form, read through the treatment information and sign the consent form as instructed prior to and every time a treatment takes place. All patients will be sent an appointment confirmation email and given a copy of the aftercare notes on the day of their treatment. The appointment may be cancelled if these forms are not completed in full.
    • 4.2 All past patients will be asked to sign a declaration confirming that their medical history has not changed since the day of completion. It is the patient’s responsibility to inform Dr Joelle Aesthetics of any changes to their medical history, however insignificant it may seem. Dr Joelle Aesthetics reserves the right to ask for re-completion of a patient’s medical history at any time.

  1. Product Purchases
    • 5.1 All available skin care products are available to order from the clinic, following a consultation – virtual or in person. You are welcome to ask for a full list of the products which are available to order. If you would like to place an order, please email us listing the products you would like.
    • 5.2 It is not permitted to advertise the cost of ZO Skin Health products on clinic websites. Please phone in or request a copy of our price list if you would like to know prices of these products. Consultations will be required before purchasing any products from this range as a prescription order would need to be generated thus warranting a prior consultation regarding your relevant medical history and skin care needs.
    • 5.3 Full payment is to be made via the telephone, in clinic or via the clinic online shop; please refer to point 3.2. You will be charged £5 for postage and packaging.
    • 5.4 Please note until confirmation and payment has been received, the products will not be ordered. You will be sent an email confirming payment has been made and your products have successfully been ordered.
    • 5.3 How to take a patch test?

How to do a test patch:

Before starting any new products you must do a test patch:

  • Start with a pea size amount on the inner arm.
  • Wait 15 mins if no reaction then place on the jaw line and leave for 24 hrs
  • If no reaction then start on the face.

Reaction: redness, irritation, swelling, burning stinging or the appearance of a rash, wheeze, shortness of breath or anaphylaxis.

If these above reactions occur at any point remove from the skin. Wash the skin, discontinue using the products and seek urgent medical attention for urgent concerns from A&E or your local GP. 

  1. Complaints

Dr Joelle Aesthetics is committed to providing a high quality service to all patients. We recognise there may be occasions when patients may wish to complain about some aspect of the service which has been offered or received. If you feel you wish to discuss an issue, or indeed make a complaint, we would kindly ask that you bring this to the attention of a member of staff as soon as possible.

This complaints procedure ensures that your complaint will be dealt with as quickly as possible.

    • 6.1 Verbal Complaints

If you wish to speak to someone about an aspect of the service you experienced at Dr Joelle Aesthetics, please try to do so as soon as possible, preferably before you leave the clinic premises. Staff will make every effort to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible. If your concerns are not resolved to your satisfaction, you will be advised on the process to make a formal written complaint.

    • 6.2 Written Complaints

All written complaints should be addressed to Dr Joelle Williams, Medical Director at Dr Joelle Aesthetics.

Please describe as fully as you can the nature of your complaint, stating the following information:

  • what you are unhappy about
  • when the incident took place
  • clinic staff present at the time

Your complaint will be acknowledged in writing within two (2) working days of receiving your written complaint and a full reply will be sent to you within five (5) working days.

Dr Joelle Aesthetics will carry out a full investigation of the nature of your complaint and offer to meet with you in order to resolve the issue(s). You will receive a full written response within twenty (20) working days of the complaint being received.

  1. Packages

All packages including unused packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.

All packages expire after 18months.

In the rare event a package is found to be unsuitable and needs to be transferred the treatments already taken are each charged at the full treatment price.
