Unlock Your Skin’s Natural Potential with PRP

A natural injectable treatment which uses your body’s own cells from your blood for rejuvenation.

What is PRP?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a natural injectable treatment which harnesses the renewal properties from your own blood to rejuvenate, maintain healthy skin and slow down aging.

What to expect during a PRP treatment?

A sample of blood is taken from a vein in your arm. The sample is then placed in a centrifuge which is used to remove the red blood cells, leaving behind the “liquid gold” or PRP which contains high concentrations of growth factors and other healing substances.
The PRP is then injected into the desired areas to promote skin renewal and produce healthy, glowing skin.

How does PRP work?

The growth factors in the plasma stimulates stem cells leading to acceleration in soft tissue healing and regeneration.

Platelets release growth factors which stimulate collagen, matrix production (scaffolding for new collagen) and angiogenesis (new blood vessels to the area).

Benefits of PRP?

Where on the body is PRP typically used in aesthetics?

  • Upper eyelid and lower
  • Facial Skin
  • Forehead
  • Neck skin
  • Decolletage
  • Cheek
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Lips
  • Chin
  • Backs of Hands
  • Scarring
  • Knees
  • Elbows
  • Abdominal skin

Is PRP a safe procedure?

Like all medical procedures, there are risks associated. The most common risks are bruising at the injection sites and swelling. Because your own plasma is used, the procedure in general has a lower side effect profile than most aesthetic treatments.

Is there downtime associated with PRP?

Tiny blebs from PRP injections tend to settle within the first 24 hours. Of course with any treatment involving injections, bruising and swelling are possible however the risk and extent of this is minimal as very tiny needles or cannulas (blunt ended needles) are used.
